Live life with purpose!
It is important to set short-term and long-term goals. We must work towards them, rather than "just let things happen." Make sure that your short-term goals line up with your long-term goals. When you write them down, make sure they are realistic and reacheable. Adjust them as you progress and accomplish them, while enjoying where you are.
Integrity: Who are you when no one is looking?
Integrity is the integration of your behavior with our ideas, convictions, standards, and beliefs. Our behavior is just an outward product of our belief system. Will behave according to what we believe to be right or wrong. A person with integrity can be defined as a person who does the right thing- one who does not cheat, lies, nor steals. A person with integrity is one who does the right thing when nobody is looking. It is one who takes advantage of opportunities but not at the expense of others. A person of integrity is who I want to be!! What about you?
Mentoring others
A mentor can be defined as "a wise and trusted counselor or teacher". We are all mentors in one way of the other. A mentor is a person who set an example for others. A mother can be a mentor to a child. A teacher can be a mentor to a student. An employer can be a mentor to an employee. In fact, all human beings have the potential to influence another person in a positive or negative way. Are you a mentor to someone else? What kind of behavior are you demonstrating? Remember, someone is always watching. You can influence them in a good or bad way for the rest of their live. Be careful how you are living your life in front of others.

How much debt do you have?
I am employed as an account manager at a credit repair company. We offer a unique service. We assist individuals who are serious potential home buyers fix their credit. Some of my duties are to evaluate credit reports and develop a plan of action in how I can better serve my clients. The goal is to help them improve their credit so they qualify for a home. Now, I want to express my concern as to how much debt my clients have. Excessive amounts of charge-offs on credit cards. They tell me that most of the credit card debt they obtained once they enrolled in college. They were sent some many credit card offers that it was hard for them just to turn the offers down. For some reason, they were not taught to just say no to those offers. Five to seven years later they are still paying the consequences for their actions. Be careful when adquiring so many credit cards. Never use your credit cards as a source of income, but as a leverage to build your credit.
Overcoming Fear
That word fear. So hard to describe. So many fears we face on a daily basis. Fear of the unknown, fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of this fear of that. So many people are paralized by so many fears, yet so many find ways to overcome their fears. What makes a person fearful? Their way of thinking. Most fears are unreal. They are only in the person's mind. Some based on past experiences, some learned. Whichever fears you are facing just acknowledge them and tell yourself that you can overcome your fears.
Boundaries in relationships
A successful relationship is made up of two individuals who know who they are as a person. I have learned not to loose my uniqueness as a human being in my relationships. You see, my problem in the past is that I was a "people-pleaser." Being someone who constantly likes to please others left me resentful and angry in the past. It was not until I learned that I needed to understand myself and my needs in order to be able to communicate them to others. I needed to know myself. I had the need to know what I liked, what I needed, and what I wanted. A healthy relationship requires a clear definition of your own individuality. I learned to never loose my individuality in a relationship. I learned to draw boundaries.
5 Tips to Be Successful
Successful people are very disciplined. Here are five tips for those who desire to be successful: one, do not take life so serious, work hard do what you are supposed to do, but have fun doing it. two, get up early in the morning and do not go to bed so late at night. Your rest is very important for your health. Many people live life chasing careers and lots of money and then when they get old and sick they have to spend that money on doctors to get better. How ironic! Three, plan for the future but live life as if it was your last day, showing appreciation to your loved ones and doing things for others than yourself. Four, prioritize your task and do not procrastinate. And finally, five, find someone you can teach what you know. The grave is the richest place in the whole wide world.
